I say semi-retired because I found full retirement didn’t suit me. And so I converted a spare bedroom into an office, and have never looked back.

It’s safe to say that it totally changed my life.

Why I Launched This Website

Having taken the first steps into creating a comfortable working space, I soon realized that the marketplace for good quality but affordable office furniture was a minefield. I made mistakes such as ordering desks that were smart to look at but were totally impractical. Office chairs that were cheap and nasty. Printers that spent more time offline rather than doing what they were bought to do and so on. Do you get the picture?

And so I thought that if I could save you some of the frustration that I endured, it would be a good thing for you, and I would feel happy to have passed on my experiences.

How I Aim To Help You

You may be one of the hundreds of thousands of people who, because of the worldwide pandemic have been forced to work from home. There’s a good chance that many companies will see this as the way forward, and in the future, you will be given no choice in the matter. Or you could be one of the millions of self-employed people who have always worked from home, and can’t understand what all the fuss is about.
